Shona
Dichi All That Matters To Me
(Am./Can. Ch. Dichi One Final Chance -ex- Dichi Snowshoe Island Breeze)
You are listening to "I will always love you".
In the Middle East, the word "shona" is
used to describe
"gold" or "precious" -
and this word perfectly describes our Shona.

A daughter of
Breezie (Dichi Snowshoe Island Breeze),
sired by
Chance (Am./Can. Ch. Dichi One Final Chance),
Shona is a wonderful dog with a sweet, gentle personality.  If it were up to her, she would spend her
every moment by your side!

Shona's hips are registered and rated "Good".
Her elbows are registered and rated "Normal".
Her eyes and heart are also registered.
She has full dentition with a perfect bite,
and has pitch black pigment year around.
Shona Kids
One of Shona's kids is Henna, who was sired by our Victor (Ch. Dichi Go Unchallenged).    Henna is a great young dog who is in training to become a Certified Service Dog through the program at WAGS - Wisconsin Academy of Graduate Service Dogs.    You can visit their website at www.wags.net to learn more about their great program.  Following are excerpts from letters received in June 2008  from Kelly O'Ferrell, Program Director of WAGS:
Dichi WAGS Henna
"I want to give you an update on Henna, your pup that started in the WAGS program in September of last year.  She's absolutely glorius.  Perhaps the best Service Dog I've ever known.  (Still in training - she's 11 months old now.)  She's low aroused, super friendly without being pushy or needy, very healthy and so smart.  . . .
I had Henna's hips and elbows x-rayed (we do this on all our dogs in training at 1 year) and her hips were "good" and her elbows normal.  When Dr. Sondel (
Spring Harbor Animal Hospital) saw her, he immediately knew she was a Dichi Golden.  Whenever we are in public, folks who already have Dichi Goldens know immediately that she's a Dichi Golden.  I hear great stories about their Goldens -- they are all just like Henna.
We love Henna very much and hope to have another Dichi Golden sometime this year.  Thank you so much!"
